On August 7 – 10, 2022, the US-CDC hosted the 11th International Conference on Emerging Infectious Diseases (ICEID) at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Atlanta, Georgia. This is an event held every 2–3 years and it brings together more than 1,500 public health professionals from around the world to encourage the ex-change of the latest information on issues affecting the emergence, spread, and control of infectious diseases.

The PHFP was represented by Edirisa Juniour Nsubuga with an abstract titled: District leaders’ community dialogue meetings improved willingness to receive COVID-19 vaccines in Western Uganda, May 2021, on 7 August 2022
