The objectives of its establishment are:

1. To promote unity in diversity amongst the people who pursue any track on the Uganda Public Health Fellowship Program.
2. To avail a platform for learning, innovation and acquisition of new skills and in the public health practice.
3. To support activities, initiatives and programs aimed at promoting public health education and practice in Uganda and the world over.

The organization is the alumni association of the Uganda Public Health Fellowship Program and as such all members of the organization are either current residents or graduates of the Uganda Public Health Fellowship Program.

The diversity in background, education and skills of its members puts the organization in a unique position to foster improvements in public health in Uganda.
Members of the organization boast of more than 35 years of collective experience in public health work in Uganda and overseas.
