Background of the Uganda Public Health Bulletin (UPHB)

The UPHB publication is supported by the Public Health Fellowship Program (PHFP), which recruits and trains talent to support the Ministry of Health (MOH).
Fellows come to the program as Master of Public Health or related discipline graduates and are attached to an MOH department, such as HIV, malaria, maternal and child health, or TB, to support their work during their fellowship. Field work strengthens the skills of the fellows and increases capacity of the MOH department supporting the fellow.
Requirements of graduation include a manuscript for publication in a peer-review journal and two articles for publication in the Uganda Public Health Bulletin.
