The World Population day is observed on 11th July every year to raise awareness of global population issues.

The world population is estimated at 9.8 billion by 2050.

Furthermore, population rise is associated with increased conflicts, wars, ecological degradation, and pandemics.

There is therefore need to practice adequate family planning to control this population growth and every woman and man are called upon to cooperate for this cause.
