Richard Migisha, MBChB, MPH, M.Sc. is a Field Supervisor with the Uganda Public Health Fellowship Program (UPHFP). Dr. Migisha is also an epidemiologist.

He graduated with a Bachelors of Medicine and Bachelors of Surgery, did a Masters of Public Health, and Masters of Science in Physiology, all from Mbarara University of Science and Technology in Uganda.

Dr. Migisha also completed a Fellowship in Advanced Field Epidemiology from the Uganda Public Health Training Program (UPHFP) before serving as field supervisor with the UPHFP.

Dr. Migisha worked as a medical officer in Kisoro District Local Government, and Ntungamo District Local Government, mainly as a clinician for seven years. Additionally, Dr. Migisha has experience in working with infectious disease outbreaks, and non-communicable diseases. He is an alumnus of One Health Institute (OHI) of Makerere University.

Dr. Migisha has published more than 20 scientific papers in the field of disease outbreak investigations, zoonotic diseases, and non-communicable diseases including hypertension, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, and metabolic syndrome.
