Dr. Rukundo Gerald, MD, MPH, Advanced FETP graduate, is a Medical Doctor and Public Health Specialist with over 11 years’ experience in Public Health and Epidemiology. Gerald has held several positions in both government and non-governmental organisations where he has gained experience in disease surveillance, health emergencies & response, health systems strengthening, research, and health care management. Furthermore, Gerald has an extensive experience in reproductive health and HIV/AIDs care and treatment having worked with University Research Co llc under USAID-SUSTAIN Project. Gerald has been involved in 11 disease outbreak investigations and responses. Gerald is currently a Mortality Surveillance Rapid Responder under the Uganda Rapid Mortality Surveillance Project.
